目的:研究人核糖体蛋白L37(RPL37)在前列腺癌中的表达及其临床意义。方法:应用real-time qPCR(RT-qPCR)和Western blot检测64例前列腺癌组织及癌旁组织中RPL37 mRNA和蛋白的表达情况,分析其与前列腺癌患者临床病理特征及生存状况之间的关系。结果 :RT-qPCR和Western blot结果表明,前列腺癌组织中RPL37 mRNA和蛋白表达水平明显高于癌旁组织(P<0.05); RPL37 mRNA的表达增高与患者血清中的PSA水平增加、高Gleason评分及肿瘤的临床分期有关(P<0.05),与患者的年龄、淋巴结转移、精囊侵犯及手术切缘无关(P>0.05)。生存分析表明,前列腺癌患者中RPL37 mRNA高表达组的总生存期显著低于低表达组(P=0.006)。结论:RPL37mRNA的表达增高与前列腺癌的发生、发展相关;RPL37可以初步判断前列腺癌患者的预后。
Abstract:
Objective: To explore the expression of ribosomal protein L37 in prostate cancer and its clinical significance. Methods: Quantitative real-time

polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR)and Western blot were used to measure and compare the levels of the expression of ribosomal protein L37 mRNA and protein in 64 specimens from prostate cancer tissues and surrounding non- tumor tissues. The relationship between RPL37 mRNA expression and clinicopathological factors were statistically analyzed. Results: RPL37 mRNA and protein expression were expressed at higher levels in prostate cancer tissues compared with non-tumor tissues(P<0.05). The enhanced expression of RPL37 mRNA was significantly associated with the increased level of PSA, higher Gleason score and clinical stage, but not correlated with age, lymph nodemetastasis, seminal vesicle invasion and surgical margin status. Survival analysis showed that prostate cancer patients with high expression of RPL37 had shorter survival time than those with low RPL37 expression. Conclusion: The elevated expression of RPL37 may be involved in the development of prostate cancer and related to poor survival of prostate cancer patients.
